If you think this looks bad, you should see what I did to that Grizzly Bear! ... j/k. This is what Jade did to me as she was trying to escape Hurricane Reagan and Tropical Storm Gavin. I suppose it could have been worse and although it doesn't look like it, the Dr. says there shouldn't be noticable scarring. I'll keep my fingers crossed on that one. Chicks dig scars still right? lol. This pic was taken right after the Dr. was done with me. The real swelling/bruising took place the next day but unfortunately, we have no pics on that. This is quite enough for histories sake. So, enjoy and try not to get too queasy. Talk to you all later. Jon

Study Buddy
I have been very busy lately. Just as one thing ends, another starts. I recently graduated ALS (airmen leadership school) and was promoted to Staff Sergeant. After that course I dove right into a language refresher course and tested on my yearly exam. Now after 2 months I am back to work preparing to wrap up my BA. As you can see certain family members have felt neglected with all my work demands. Jade always was a daddy's girl.

Alaska...
I've been in Alaska now for 6 months and am really enjoying the outdoor scenery. It reminds me very much of Oregon and where I grew up. I'm already getting prepped for next years fishing season and hope to stock up the garage freezer with as many salmon as I can get. They always talk about the moose here and it's true. We see them all the time grazing and eating the neighbors flowers.
